Turning the Tide: J.R.’s Path to a Brighter Future with Momentum’s Support

We are incredibly proud to share an inspiring story from one of our amazing learners! 

Meet J.R, a former learner who faced challenging circumstances that led to homelessness. But through sheer determination and with a little help from Momentum, he turned the tide.

In his own words: “Momentum have helped me through my own circumstances where I found myself homeless, they were able to take me on board as a family and treated me like a human being, something I will be eternally grateful for the rest of my days.”

J.R also praised the training provided by Momentum, stating, “As for the training they offer, Momentum have been excellent including the staff who have boosted my confidence.”

But the story doesn’t end there. With newfound confidence and skills, he is paving a brighter future. He shared, “My time at Momentum has also given me the opportunity of confidently referring people who are interested in the sort of courses they offer knowing they will not be judged no matter what their circumstances.”

And the exciting news? J.R has recently had an interview for a security job at a hotel! With his SIA license on the way, he is ready to embark on this new career journey.
