Overcoming Challenges and Building Level 3 Skills
For Jason, coming to Momentum followed a challenging period away from work:
“I came here after suffering from mental health issues and being made unemployed about a year ago. I’ve spent the last three months here learning to weld and have got myself up to Level 3. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this and would recommend it to anyone.”
Through dedicated tutor guidance and intensive practical booth time, Jason progressed through his training to achieve advanced Level 3 competency, giving him the practical foundation to re-enter the workforce with confidence.
Gaining Confidence and Lifelong Friendships
For Shane, training at Momentum helped him find direction after struggling between short-term jobs:
“I’ve been here at Momentum for three months and achieved my Level 1, 2, and 3 in welding. I came here after not really knowing what to do with myself and struggling job-to-job. Since being here, I’ve made some great friends, all the tutors have been fantastic, and my confidence has grown massively. I’ve gained the skills I need to go straight into fabrication.”
